Agricultural Management Assistance (AMA) Program Sign Up

Through AMA, financial assistance is available for eligible producers to implement conservation practices such as high tunnels, micro-irrigation and other specific irrigation and water related practices. Through a collaboration with the USDA Risk Management Agency (RMA), the two agencies will use NRCS experience in providing technical and financial assistance to distribute these funds using NRCS conservation program contracts. This AMA sign-up opportunity in Vermont will prioritize funding opportunities for historically underserved groups, such as new and beginning farmers, socially disadvantaged farmers, and veteran farmers.
