We began as an idea shared among farmers in 2012. With support from UVM Extension and a Conservation Innovation Grant from the Natural Resources Conservation Service, our organization was born.

Our work is to support farmers in implementing innovative practices that improve water quality, soil health, and long-term economic resilience through on-farm technical assistance, education, and connection to resources.

We are a coalition of 118 diverse farms across Vermont’s Champlain Valley, ranging from small organic vegetable farms to large conventional dairy operations and everything in between.
