UVM Extension provides research-based education and technical support to farmers across Vermont, helping advance soil health, water quality, and resilient farm management practices.

The Agency of Agriculture supports Vermont farms through funding, technical assistance, and policy leadership, working to strengthen the agricultural economy while protecting natural resources.

The Franklin and Grand Isle Farmers Watershed Alliance is a farmer-led 501(c)(3) organization that supports farmers in implementing environmentally sound and economically viable practices through education, research, and advocacy. They have been in existence for over 20 years!

The Connecticut River Watershed Farmers Alliance is a farmer-led 501(c)(3) organization that supports agricultural producers across Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. Through workshops, peer learning, and resource sharing, they help farmers improve land stewardship, protect water quality, and build healthy, productive soils.

Conservation Districts work locally with farmers and landowners to provide technical assistance, education, and funding support for conservation practices that protect soil and water resources.

VAWQP coordinates efforts across agencies and organizations to support farmers in meeting water quality goals through technical assistance, funding programs, and collaborative planning.

The Dairy Producers Alliance advocates for Vermont dairy farmers, providing a unified voice on policy issues and supporting the long-term viability of the dairy industry.
